Mark G - Week 1
Mark G - Week 1
Meet Mark. A high schooler with dreams of playing in college. Wanna know more? Read on...
Mark was one of five players selected to participate in Project Sting, a 12 week program where OneResult takes, you guessed it, five players, and puts them on training, nutrition, and supplement plans. Think of it as a, 1R Proves The Plans and Supplements Actually Do Work, project. Anyways, here's a snippet of how Mark got selected:
"... Since your plan will make me more physically sound for college lacrosse, I give my word that I will put in the time when you give me the chance. I know my dedication and interest to your program makes me the best participant for the Sting Project, and selecting me is a choice you will not regret."
How do you not select a kid after that? So, Mark got us his metrics and here they are:
Height - 6'0"
Weight - 170 lbs
Squat - 265 lbs
Deadlift - 275 lbs
Bench - 205 lbs
Pull-Ups - 16
40 Time - 4.86 seconds
Mark's currently on "Weight Gain - Fast Metabolism" nutrition plan, "Advanced Mass Lacrosse" training plan, and Get Bigger supplement package. And here's what he had to say a couple of days ago at the onset:
"...It may just be a psychological thing, but either way, I like where this process is going. I'm eating even more than I was previous to the program, which was a good amount already. I'm working out and ingesting food like an animal. Currently, I weigh just over 170 lbs. My goal is to use this process to make me into a shredded and explosive 190-200 lbs house. Getting started may be the hardest part, yet I couldn't be excited."
And a couple of days ago, Mark checked back in with this:
"Crush session three was intense earlier today. I'm challenging myself and will probably have questions soon about specifics. But I'm feeling bigger and stronger each day."
And that's Mark... Obviously more to come, so feel free to stop by occasionally and read of his progress. The kid wants it. We want it for him. For the next 12 weeks you'll be able to follow him, and four other kids with similar goals, on their road to becoming stronger, faster, and better.
