Incline Bench Rows

Incline Bench Rows

What You'll Need
Your need a bench that allows for an incline, and you'll need the amigos, Dumbbells Uno and Dos.

Why You Should Be Doing This Exercise
Know what we like about this? Just how impossible it is to cheat doing this confounded venture in lat-itude. So, ensure back honesty and throw this into the mix.

Start
The bench should be set at an angle to ensure two things: 1. In lying face down, your upper body weight is leaning on the bench and 2. You can extend your arms all the way while holding the weights, without hitting the floor. Okay, now that you're situated lets get to the rip.

Middle
The movement here is exactly like a bench press, except instead of pushing the weight up, you're pulling it up. So, elbows out, and pull to the point of lat contraction. You'll know when that happens, and it will be marvelous.

Finish
Again, the bench angle should allow you to extend your arms all the way down. Unless you have a 7'6" wingspan, in which you've got larger logistical issues to deal with than bench angle.

Key Don'ts
The only real don't here is don't find a way to cheat in an exercise designed to nearly eliminate cheating. That would be a dubious achievement.
