1. As if the name didn't tip you off, these are meant to be fast squats, so once you land in the squat position, you're right back up in the air. 
2. Try to maintain good squat form when you're momentarily on the ground. Stay on your heels, get your thighs parallel to the ground, keep your back straight, and do what you do, i.e. squat and jump!
