Active Recovery

During the week I train extremely hard and at times I overdo it. Does anyone have any good active recovery workouts that would benefit a strength/explosive workout regimen?

foam rolling and light (and i mean really light) dynamic stretching followed by static stretching. Take a yoga class or swim a few laps in a pool. The point of active recovery is to keep the body moving but not stress it.

I found the neural charge workouts in these articles super helpful.

I generally do them 3 times a week in the mornings and find myself feeling much, much better during an afternoon session.

I've also started implementing neural charge workouts with some success so far. Definintely give it a shot.
