Pulled back

I am doing the off season weight gain soccer training plan. I recently pulled my back while doing deadlifts. Everytime i go to do squats or leg presses now, my lower back hurts really bad. What can I do to get good results but not do or modify these exercises? I heard that icing it will really help but I don't know

@mflores

Definitely start with ice, stim, and rest sir. That will help get you back to 100% far faster than if you try to push through. Hopefully you have a trainer who can help you out but you don't want to do anything that is going to aggrevate the situation.

When you start feeling a bit better try doing front squats which will be a bit easier on your lower back, and trap bar deadlifts which will have the same effect. Once you build back the strength feel free to alternate with regular squats and deads, but the two variations listed about are a good place to start.
