Joe Hermes

Joe Hermes is currently the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of Evansville in Indiana. As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), with a bachelor of science degree cum laude from Eureka College and a master's degree in Kinesiology and Recreation from Illinois State University. Hermes knows the importance of a sound strength and conditioning program, as he was a former all-conference defensive lineman and team captain of the football team at Eureka College, before playing professional indoor football for both the Bloomington (IL) Extreme and Peoria (IL) Rough Riders in 2006. During his tenure at University of Evansville, Joe directly organizes designs and implements complete strength and conditioning programs for 14 division 1 athletic programs. Hermes works closely with the entire coaching staff to stay on target during each teams competitive season. He has worked with multiple professional athletes and athletic prospects from NFL, MLB, MLS, and currently is training an athlete to compete on a European Nationals Professional Volleyball Team. Hermes works daily with team doctors, athletic trainers, and rehabilitation specialist to put together the most comprehensive sports training programs possible.
